Roo

Privacy Policy

This site is a first-timer's guide to Roo, written for Australians who have never played there. A guide like this needs very little personal data, and this page sets out what we handle, why, and how you stay in control of it.

What we record

Opening a page leaves a line in our server log: your IP address, browser and device type, the page that sent you here, the pages you read and the time of the visit. If you write to us, we also keep the message and the address it came from. We never ask for your date of birth, card numbers or identity documents, and we cannot see anything inside your Roo account.

Why we record it

Logs keep the site online and safe, helping us catch broken links, slow pages and automated abuse. Reading statistics show which steps of the guide confuse beginners, so we know what to rewrite. Messages are used only to reply to you.

Cookies and analytics

A few cookies remember your consent choice and basic display settings. Analytics cookies count visits and clicks in aggregate, never by name. When you follow a link to Roo, a referral cookie tells the operator you came from this guide; it holds no name or contact details. Your browser can block or delete cookies at any time, and every page here will still work.

Who else handles it

Our hosting company and analytics provider process data for us and may not use it for their own ends. The casino operator receives only the referral marker described above. Visitor data is never sold or rented, and it goes to authorities only when the law obliges us.

How long we hold it

Raw server logs are deleted after a few months. Analytics reports are kept longer, but only in a form that can no longer point to one visitor. Emails are erased once the matter is closed, unless we need them to settle a dispute.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to analytics, and withdraw cookie consent whenever you like. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can also complain to the Australian privacy regulator.

Getting in touch

Send privacy requests through the contact option on this site and name the right you want to use; we reply within 30 days. Anything tied to your Roo account itself, such as deposits or uploaded documents, sits with the operator, so raise it with Roo's own support team.
